Goldfish, Food, Poop

Without God we would be like a goldfish in a tiny aquarium eating and pooping in the same small quarters without anyone to filter our waste. We make a mess of our lives. We make a mess of our planet. We speak truth and crap from the same mouth. We do good to one group of people with our hands, and use the same hands to entertain filth. We dump waste in our oceans and then we fish from the same ocean for food. We mess up all that we have, but God comes back and cleans up our mess. Mankind has sinned against God royally, and yet God has conveniently (for us, inconveniently for His Son) made a way out of the mess. He has brought us from death to life through the Son whom He loves. We're just a goldfish eating and pooping in the same place without hope unless Someone comes along. It is not until men realize that they need a Savior that they can meet the Savior. The food has run out, and the goldfish is now eating his own waste. He has been doing it for so long now, he doesn't even realize it. No wonder people are depressed. Yet, hope comes in the name of the LORD. Seek Him while He still can be found.

Your Kingdom Come

"Your kingdom come ... on earth as it is in heaven." Let me just say a word about this. There are a couple of times we are allowed a peek into heaven. There is no foolishness going on in heaven, because there is no doubt who is running the show. There is no doubt WHO is the ruler or who is on the throne in the center of heaven. All those in heaven including the amazing looking creatures are worshiping God in song. There is no rebellion in heaven. It is not a divided kingdom in heaven. There is unity where people worship God and God alone. God is on His throne. He is seated, because He can handle all His business while seated, because that is how He rolls. Another thing, He is seated because IT IS FINISHED. LORD God, we pray today that your kingdom come on earth as it is in heaven. This is your prayer for world peace, my friend.
