125 Cheerleaders Abducted From Camp

Breaking News: 125 cheerleaders were abducted from a cheerleader camp held in a plush north Georgia suburban area. The citizens (including parents, local police forces, National Guard, the military) aren’t just up in arms over this; they are mobilized into action as we would expect them to be. The unnamed group of abductors are faceless. Their intent is to make wives of these young girls and/or sell them on the human-trafficking market. —- Obviously, this did not happen…here. But it did happen at an all-girl school in Nigeria a couple of weeks ago. What is the difference? After two weeks, 234 Nigerian school girls are still missing, and the world knows who took them. And the world knows their intention. Not only that, it is a recurrence of this group of people. —- For over a month CNN has made a big To-Do about a plane that is missing and many lives likely lost. As of this moment, authorities still don’t even know where that plane is. Authorities know where Nigeria is. They know where this evil organization resides. —-Some good people in the media would not let the story about the abducted girls disappear this time. Will the world cry out? Is an American cheerleader more important than a Nigerian school girl? Where are the voices? If not for twitter and Facebook news like this would fall to the back page. How can we go on? Pray for our world. Pray for our collective hearts.
