Ra

Ra (pronounced as Rah, and sometimes as Re) is the ancient Egyptian sun god. By the fifth dynasty he became a major deity in ancient Egyptian religion, identified primarily with the mid-day sun, with other deities representing other positions of the sun. Even today on Sunday mornings in Florida from 10:30-2:00PM some part-time worshipers of the God of the Universe still worship the sun god.
