Martha was distracted (in her hospitality preparations) from the worship of Jesus. It doesn't always have to be an elaborate satanic scheme to distract us from worshiping the LORD. Sometimes our busy-ness gets in the way of worship. Here Jesus was in living color, for goodness-sake fall at his feet! Pastors, teachers, leaders...all need to be certain they slow down in the midst of the business of ministry to worship Jesus. Yes, we want things to be set-up and just right, but are we worshiping?
