The more you study God's Word, and the deeper you get into God's Word, the more amazing it is. God's revealed truth in Scripture is incredible. For example, in our Bible study last night one of our group members did a concordance study on one word---"forty". He found all the places forty is used in the Bible. He found that the number 40 stands for "cleansing." So, Jesus was tempted 40 days in the wilderness. If there was (and there wasn't) any impurities within Him it would have been cleaned out during that time. The dirt would have risen to the surface. But we find that He was clean already! There's no dirt on Jesus, thus He was able to be the perfect sacrifice. The deeper you go in the Word, the more rooted you become in the faith.
